Dunsmore Ward Councillor Howard Roberts in his capacity as County Councillor has helped secure £1000 funding for Ryton Star Football Club based in Ryton on Dunsmore.

Funding for such schemes is quite restricted, but by presenting the positive impact of the football club for the village the organisation has convinced the funding panel of the value of this investment. This good news follows on from last year’s successful grant application for the same amount.

The Warwickshire County Council Councillors’ Grant Fund is aimed at community and voluntary organisations. The Fund provides each of Warwickshire County Councillors with a pot of £6000 to support small-scale projects within their division.
