Hillmortons Borough Councillor Kathryn Lawrence arranged for the Hillmorton War Memorial to be cleaned, in preparation for this years Remembrance Sunday which commemorates 100 years since the end of World War One.  A grant from Hillmorton Charities paid for a protective coating on the Memorial,  which is made of sandstone, this will provide a lasting protection to the local landmark.

Hillmorton Councillors call for local residents to join them for Hillmorton’s Annual Parade and Service at the War Memorial, to begin at 10.50am tomorrow morning. 

A small reminder that High Street (from its junction with Deerings Road to its junction with Fenwick Drive) will be closed between 10.30am to 11.45am for the above event.
