Councillor Dale Keeling is asking local residents on Callier Close to keep an eye out for bad driving.
Dale said, "After complaints from local residents about the road signs for Callier Close being bashed several times by reversing delivery drivers, I can now confirm new signs are now on order. I have also asked if the signs could be placed slightly back in order to stop any repeat of the damage."
Cllr. Keeling confirmed he is writing to local residents asking them to watch out and if possible record the registration and any company name of vehicles causing the on-going damage to the signs. Then pass the information back to him. He said, "Accidents do happen but I don't see why the tax payer should be footing the bill."
