Richard said, "I moved into Brownsover just over 12 months ago and having been a local councilor elsewhere immediately got involved in local issues and local groups."

"Previously I ran a thriving Community Group, sat on a Medical Practice PPG, formed a Neighbourhodo Watch, was Parish Councillor, became a school governor and now I coach a youth foot ball team. I would like to represent my own area as the local candidate.  Living in the ward I would ensure that the voice of Newbold and Brownsover is heard within the Conservative led Council. Having recently joined the Newbold and  the Brownsover community groups. I am committed to realising all opportunities for our area. I have a good track record in attracting funding and improvements for areas I represent, such as new paths, litter removal, crime reduction, tree planting and sports development."
