Councillor Lisa Parker, portfolio holder for environment and public realm, said in a council press release: "The Green Flag Awards set a high benchmark for parks and green spaces, and we're delighted to have retained all five of our flags in 2018. The council's parks team works hard all year round, but volunteers and residents also play a vital role in helping us keep our parks and green spaces places we can all enjoy."
Five of the Rugby's parks have received Green Flag Awards this year, they include; Caldecott Park, Millennium Green, Gladstone Green and grounds of Rainsbrook Crematorium.
The Green Flag Awards, organised by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, aim to raise standards in parks and green spaces across the country, promoting well-maintained and well-managed parks with excellent facilities.
