Chris Sees Local Schools Are Key to Our Future

Chris Johnson is your local Rugby Borough Council Conservative candidate for the local elections on 2nd May 2019.

Chris is an experienced teacher and would work hard in the ward to make sure our schools are well supported. Chris was disappointed that the Liberal Democrats in Rugby have opposed Rugby Free Secondary School (RFSS), as he believes it is important children in Rugby have high quality education. RFSS offer an exciting curriculum focused on the science, technology, engineering and maths, vital disciplines if we want to maintain high quality manufacturing jobs in the area in the years to come. 

Chris is please that Harris Church of England Academy is leading the way in improving the careers advice available to students, which traditionally has been a weak part of our education. 

Chris is also keen to make sure the well-loved Brooke School has the help it needs from Rugby Borough Council to maintain their success. He would also encourage you to support their new shop, Buy It 34 in the Town centre.
