Hillmorton Councillors Kathryn Lawrence with Ian Picker, Yousef Dahmash and David Cranham join members of the Hillmorton Village Green Association for the official opening of the Hillmorton Village Green Gate.

The gate is situated near the Deerings Road High Street junction and will be decorated with planters and a ‘Welcome to Hillmorton’ plaque.

This is part of the plan by the Association to 'go for gold' in the Heart of England in Bloom competition -  Hillmorton previously won a silver award in the small town category.
