Cllr Emma Crane, Rugby Borough Council Conservative portfolio holder for communities and homes, said in a recent press release, "Community and voluntary organisations play a vital role in the borough and, like all of us, have faced many challenges during the pandemic. Our new grants aim to provide organisations with some additional help to overcome those challenges, developing projects which engage our communities during lockdown and 'future-proof' support services moving forward to recovery."
Organisations keen to develop new ways of working and connecting with residents through digital technology, or launch projects to address specific issues which have arisen during the pandemic, have been encouraged to apply.
