Dale has been a Councillor at various levels of local government and so comes with vast experience in campaigning and knowledge of policies. He has voiced concerns about planning applications, anti-social behaviour and agency workers’ rights. Lobbied for removal of graffiti, repairs of potholes and works closely with borough councillors Michael Stokes and Peter Butlin.
Dale said, “For me, the first job of any councillor is representing their community, making sure that they have regular contact. I am your link to the council. Being a councillor can be demanding work at times but being able to deliver for the local area makes it a worthwhile and rewarding experience.”
Already a proven track record for action on parks and open spaces Dale said, “As many of you would be aware, I’ve been in the local press campaigning to ‘Save the Whitehall Rec Bandstand’ which was a success and raised hundreds of signatures through-out the world on the on-line petition I set up. I also admin the group ‘The Great Central Way’ on Facebook and I am a keen supporter of an established Cawston Wood Country Park.”
