Marks & Spencer has confirmed that it wishes to move to a larger store on the redeveloped Elliott’s Field retail park and we welcome the employment opportunities this will bring to the town and the larger range of goods that will be available. However, we feel there is also a strong need for Marks & Spencer to retain a town centre presence with a Simply Food outlet.
